Onam is a vibrant and joyous festival celebrated with immense enthusiasm which is known as the "Festival of Harvest".
MBCON has conducted onam celebration in a grand and traditional manner on 29.08.2023 which was titled as "THAKARP 2K23" in which students made a beautiful floral carpet in college premises and all were in traditional outfits. The programme was started with the prayer song .Rev. Dr. Reni Mudampally, Director of MBCON, Rev. Thomas Arapurackal, Bursar, Rev. Sr. Roseena SIC, SNA Advisors Asso. Prof. Lovely Joseph, Asst. Prof. Sherin Nitish, Student Representatives along with Maveli thamburan inaugurated the celebration by lighting the traditional lamp. Ms. Ann Maria student of B.sc 2nd yr welcomed the gatherings. Later the Director delivered Onam wishes to all who assembled there. After that students organize different cultural programmes like Onam song, speech, funny dance, Thiruvathira, Fusion Dance and conducted games for the students and staffs. Finally the prizes were distributed for the winners and it ended with a delicious onam sadhya.
