On the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day, observed on 10th September 2025, a Student Talk Session was organized by the Department of Mental Health Nursing, People's University, Bhopal (M.P.), based on the theme: "Changing the Narrative on Suicide - Start the Conversation."
The event aimed to raise awareness, encourage open dialogue, and promote mental health by creating a safe and supportive environment. Students from various institutions shared powerful reflections and insights on the theme, contributing to a collective effort to destigmatize conversations around suicide and mental well-being. We are proud to share that Ms. Gladis Garg, B.Sc IV year student from our institution was invited to participate as a panelist, where she shared her reflections and insights on the theme, contributing meaningfully to the dialogue around suicide prevention and mental health awareness. The event provided a meaningful platform for learning, exchange of ideas, and collective growth.
We extend our sincere thanks to People's College of Nursing & Research Centre, People's University, Bhopal, for organizing such an impactful and inspiring programme that fosters a more compassionate and mentally healthy community.
